  • Grace Centers of Hope Internship Program
    Grace Centers of Hope, Oakland County’s oldest and largest shelter for the homeless, is an ideal setting for students to gain skills for 21st-century service to a world of human and spiritual needs. Diverse facilities, operations, and outreaches make formal and informal internship, training and practical opportunities available year-round.

    Grace Centers of Hope is a training site for graduate, undergraduate and vocational programs; in accredited and non-accredited studies; with college and post-graduate age students; in a variety of program areas. Students will have the unique opportunity to be in an urban, non-profit environment working directly with the guests that we serve. We pledge a positive working experience coupled with the benefits of helping those who suffer from homelessness, addiction and/or domestic abuse.

    Through our internship program, Grace Centers of Hope is helping prepare the next generation of compassionate, professionally trained leaders for work in the non-profit and business sectors or future missions and religious careers.

    We offer flexible programs with formal, supervised training by executive staff. Internship programs can be easily conducted within guidelines set by educational institutions to ensure a successful internship experience. Site visits are welcomed and encouraged.
