The Gracie House Children’s Home
The Gracie House Children’s Home is a nine bedroom duplex house located in Little Grace Village. Currently, the Gracie House is a home for mothers and their children who have entered in to the After Care Program. There is a house mother living with them to help mentor/aide the mother in rearing her child. The goal is for the mother to learn more appropriate parenting skills, therefore, keeping her children out of society’s foster care system.
Hands of Hope Daycare
Hands of Hope child care is designed for our mothers and fathers at Grace Centers of Hope. This allows parents to attend our one year life skills program. The children are able to play in an educationally based setting with a focus on Christian beliefs and morals. There are different classrooms which are broken up into age groups:
• Gracie Babies
Our infant program fosters a nurturing environment for the babies to feel safe. The babies are given learning toys to enhance their senses and to help create a loving, safe place for them to grow.
• Academy of Grace
This is our preschool aged program. The children are engaged in a Christian curriculum with activities especially designed for their age group.
• After School Program
School Aged Children are able to complete homework after school in our state of the art learning center. Volunteer tutors come in to help the children with their studies.
• Vacation Program
This educationally based, fun program runs during regular school breaks. The children participate in field trips, special learning experiences, and classroom activities.
• Kids Club Youth Program
This is a new program that we are implementing for our middle school and high school aged kids. The kids club will be a safe place where kids can come after school to hang out, receive tutoring, be mentored, play games, and much more. The goal in this program is to keep kids off the streets.
